SPIRITUAL PATH. COMFORTING A FRIEND


Q: I want to advance in the spiritual path . How much time should I devote to meditation?
A: The spiritual path is the way of life , is not the time dedicated to an specific practice . Meditation is not supposed to give results because of  a specific time , rather by the depth of the meditation . Then , the spiritual progress is not measured  by means of the time devoted to meditation .

Q: How to comfort a friend when he is experiencing great loss and grief in his life ?
A: To comfort is to help the person recognize reality , as well as to help the person , to start again and to have faith . All this through solidarity and a comforting conduct , but not by instilling a false superiority . It is important to understand that all grieving takes time and also , to appreciate everything that was constructive because the experiences and teachings learned in the path , stay , since good , truly , does not die .
