In the town of the man called the Madman, many learned men of different traditions got together: Mathematicians, mystics and many others wanted to decide who was the wisest among them. And for that purpose, they designed a very delicate concept which was to find the man who could put together a great contradiction, it had to be something very different, something that could represent Good and evil and to make the issue more difficult, it would have to be something that in appearance did not represent distrust or violence. But we can give a clue: By example, in a sword, we can find life and death and its use will give its real purpose, thus it must not be something as radical and it can't be sharp, hurtful but we can finally say that what seems innocent may not be it as much. So, it must be something more evident, but never insolent and here we mean that almost everything has a duality.
Money, by example, can attract Good and evil, then, it will not be accepted any relativity where the issue turns out evident in itself but at the same time, it must be something transparent and which for its condition may naturally select Good from evil; and Good must never be a topic about religion or politics because we don't want to bring a conflict but what we want is to understand the human genius that can solve this issue between one or the other, which means, Good from evil. Besides, who is in truth the human being? The contest will reveal this division and union and besides in only one function; for this purpose, the option will be given where the one who fulfills the design, will briefly explain its use and inevitably will reveal who is who and this must be seen immediately: the Good or evil been exposed, but besides Good and evil cannot be in the design nor in what's seen but in what's not seen but is let known. And thus, it will be confirmed the best wise man, genius of all regions and all nations.
And then, this was informed and many people applied, bringing the best of their repertoire about the invention, which must show Good as much as evil united and separated.
And who is capable of expressing in a simple and eloquent way and to resolve what happens in the own human being? Because this is the idea: To find the window that shows the inner side and allows to see the heart, the most intimate, where can be seen Good and evil. How to see them, although they will never be compatible with the purpose of negotiating in some way.
Who can reveal hypocrisy? Who will lift the veil? Many of the persons who applied to the contest, did not dare to show their work, since they said that it was impossible. But there was one who was firm, proud, creative and brought a frame without a picture and said: " You can see what you want to see. Each person will see his reality or fiction." But he was told: " Your proposal is not bad but does not define nor differentiate something who sees. It certainly sees what does not see but its vision is its objective and cannot show the division among Good and evil." Another brought an object covered with a black cloth and calling the judges said: " Come you all, that I will solve what you try to find." They came and when they were all there, the man lifted the veil and showed a mirror, while saying: " Look at your reality, see what you want to see and what you don't want to see. Isn't this what is Good and evil? " Even though he showed creativity and inventiveness, he was not accepted and the judges said: " You loot at the image in the mirror and then, you give it an interpretation while you have no control; the mirror does not tell you what he says, it does not solve any truth, it only is an accomplice of your look." And although he was recognized and applauded, he didn't have the answer. And after many days, the man named Madman showed up. He was bringing a simple bag in his hands and with sincere humility said:
" I will give the answer to the dilemma but before, I would like to ask if any of you dare to live with the mystery of guilt, whatever it may be? And if he could, to show that he is a being with great power." And the others said: " Since he is mad, what is he talking about, it cannot be understood what he is saying, he must not be allowed to continued."
But the Madman continued by opening the bag and bringing out a red hat. The old people, applauded and said among themselves: " This is the revelation. Who dares to wear the red hat?
Since, that person immediately accepts that is guilty. Who dares to accept the guilt, whatever it may be.? But the one who dares to wear the hat, would be a courageous man by recognizing his guilt. Who could do it? Good and evil are in man, the red hat recognizes the inner battle, the hypocrisy, the lie and the truth."
